The project 

The Kurri Kurri Lateral Pipeline project in Australia epitomises Spiecapag’s ability to innovate and adapt.
The project involved building:

  • a 21 km medium pressure gas transmission pipeline (14” in diameter)
  • a 24 km storage pipeline (42” in diameter), featuring a unique recoiled loop configuration, and other ancillary surface facilities

The solution 

This complex suburban project successfully reduced its environmental impact using the innovative horizontal direction drilling and other trenchless techniques.
